Crime is an inexcusable offence that may take different forms. For example, sedition, treason and espionage are crimes against the state where as murder, rape, kidnapping and assault are crimes against a person. Under criminal law, the government always files the suit where as in case of civil law a private party always files the suit.

Criminal law explains criminal offences and its elements and the punishment for the convicted offenders as an effective means of social control. The most important feature of the U.S. criminal law is its provision for common punishment. Certain criminal laws prescribe rules and regulations to observe and maintain higher standards of conduct. For example, helping the police in investigation when asked to do so and reporting to authorities immediately after a culprit is identified are examples of moral or ethical criminal laws.

According to the U.S. constitution there are certain crimes called strict liability crimes like drug abuse and weapon offences where the act itself is sufficient to punish the offender. Here the criminal law imposes liability without fail. In the U.S. crimes like conspiracy, terrorism and sexual harassment are dealt under inchoate crime laws where anyone aiding in planning and execution of the crime is subjected to the same penalties as a person who actually commits the crime. The crime could be the result of a direct cause or a legal cause or an intervening cause. Therefore, criminal law gives immense importance to the concept of causation.

Everybody wants the criminal to be punished for the crime he has committed. Penalties should be of such nature that the criminal would not dare repeat the act he has committed.

The lemon law and qualification requirements are not exactly the same from from state to state, but the basic rights under the law provide you with basically the same level of protection. In California, the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, or "lemon law" as it is more commonly called, benefits consumers greatly. The California lemon law provides protection when purchasing new and used vehicles, making California consumers the most protected car buyers in the country. Offenders must offer a refund or replacement car for purchases that turn out to be "lemons" under the California lemon law.

Making Sense Of Drug Laws - Unlawful Use Of A Controlled Substance

This article attempts to explain in clear language how drug laws work in a nutshell.

(1) (a) Except as is otherwise provided for offenses concerning marihuana and marihuana concentrate in sections 18-18-406 and 18-18-406.5, any person who uses any controlled substance, except when it is dispensed by or under the direction of a person licensed or authorized by law to prescribe, administer, or dispense such controlled substance for bona fide medical needs, commits:

(I) A class 6 felony, if the controlled substance is listed in schedule I or II of part 2 of this article;

(II) A class 1 misdemeanor, if the controlled substance is listed in schedule III, IV, or V of part 2 of this article.

Offenses relating to marihuana and marihuana concentrate and the need for a Drug Defense Attorney

(1) Any person who possesses not more than one ounce of marihuana commits a class 2 petty offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars. Sale or distribution of materials to manufacture controlled substances.

(1) A person who sells or distributes chemicals, supplies, or equipment, and who knows or reasonably should know or believes that a person intends to use the chemicals, supplies, or equipment to illegally manufacture a controlled substance violates this section.

Authorized possession of controlled substances.

A person to whom or for whose use any controlled substance has been prescribed or dispensed by a practitioner may lawfully possess it, but only in the container in which it was delivered to him unless he is able to show that he is the legal owner or a person acting at the direction of the legal owner of the controlled substance. Any person convicted of violating this section commits a class 1 petty offense. Fraud and deceit.

(1) (a) No person shall obtain a controlled substance or procure the administration of a controlled substance by fraud, deceit, misrepresentation, or subterfuge; or by the forgery or alteration of an order; or by the concealment of a material fact; or by the use of a false name or the giving of a false address.

(b) Information communicated to a practitioner in an effort to procure a controlled substance other than for legitimate treatment purposes or unlawfully to procure the administration of any such controlled substance shall not be deemed a privileged communication.

(c) No person shall willfully make a false statement in any order, report, or record required by this article.

(d) No person, for the purpose of obtaining a controlled substance, shall falsely assume the title of, or represent himself to be, a manufacturer, distributor, practitioner, or other person authorized by law to obtain a controlled substance.

(e) No person shall make or utter any false or forged order.

(f) No person shall affix any false or forged label to a package or receptacle containing a controlled substance.

Controlled substances - inducing consumption by fraudulent means.

(1) It is unlawful for any person, surreptitiously or by means of fraud, misrepresentation, suppression of truth, deception, or subterfuge, to cause any other person to unknowingly consume or receive the direct administration of any controlled substance, as defined in section 18-18-102 (5); except that nothing in this section shall diminish the scope of health care authorized by law.

Possession of drug paraphernalia - penalty.

(1) A person commits possession of drug paraphernalia if he possesses drug paraphernalia and knows or reasonably should know that the drug paraphernalia could be used under circumstances in violation of the laws of this state.

My advice would be to choose a subject that you are able to write about maybe you have a strong interest in football (soccer) perhaps. Now if you were to look at an affiliate website for football-related programs, in my opinion the stand-out affiliate program would be an online betting website. You could earn around 20 for every new customer that joins the betting website from clicking on an advert on your football website.

Obviously if you arent interested in writing about football then you should find something that suits your interests maybe you like music? Or gardening perhaps? Fingers crossed they should accept you in to their program, and then hopefully you will be able to start choosing the adverts and banners that you would like to display on your site. Try and find adverts that suit your website, and blend them in to the content as much as possible. Make sure that the adverts get shown at a prominent position on your website too dont just hide them away at the bottom-right corner of your last page.

Everything is now in place to start to make money from your website using the chosen affiliate program. All that is needed now is to start getting people to visit your website (this is the hardest part of the process). From my own experience the best way to get people who are interested in the subject of your website to visit your website is by writing articles and submitting them to article websites. Try and write unique content which is related to the subject of your own website. Try and make as many articles as possible, so lots of short articles is better then just one or two huge articles. This is because you will probably get more people to read the shorter articles, and the more articles you submit then-the-better your website will rank in search engines (hopefully). This is because at the end of every article you should be able to include 2 or 3 links to your own website. Not only do people click these links after reading your article (sometimes at least), but the search engines will pick up this one-way link from the article site and should improve your ranking for your link-keywords. So if you submit a football article make sure to include some football-related-keyword links in the bottom of the article. Perhaps you were writing about Doncaster Rovers if you include links at the bottom of the article with the text Doncaster Rovers then hopefully when someone searches in Google for Doncaster Rovers your website will be nearer to the top of the results.

If you find that you are unable to bring traffic to your website using the above free method then I would recommend that you spend some money on a little advertising campaign. With someone like Google you can get sponsored positions in their search-engine results, and pay a set amount every time someone clicks your website advert. Obviously this method of getting traffic will be quite dangerous, as you dont want to be paying hundreds of pounds to get visitors and only be earning a few pounds back from your own adverts.

One of the main benefits of newer technologies is mobility, and mobility means the ability to do work in more places. Since the invention of the lap top computer, there have been a steadily growing number of devices that allow people to work when and where they want to. Of course the laptop computer was the first. People can also be victims of fraud by way of forgery of documents and signatures. This type of fraud is closely related to identity theft wherein a person tries to take up your identity and forge your own signature in order to steal your own money or property.

They may be able to steal from your own checking account by signing up a check with your own forged signature.

Health fraud occurs when you are sold a health product or medicine that assures to give you a lot of benefits. But in the end, it is nothing but quack medicine that cant do anything for you.

False insurance claim is another health-related fraud that tries to victimize insurance companies by making false injury or damage claims just to obtain insurance payments.

Securities fraud occurs in the stock market wherein certain individuals try to manipulate stock prices by going through unfair insider trading. They try to accomplish through artificial means to increase the value of a certain stock.

When it reaches a certain value, they quickly sell their stock holdings before everyone else can and before the stock value falls drastically.

These are just but a few types of fraud that you are likely to encounter out there. You should always be vigilant not to fall into their trap.
